About the Role

Espressif is seeking forward-thinking AI Generalists across all functions who excel at using AI tools to enhance thinking, decision-making, and execution. This role is about augmenting professional expertise with AI in a responsible, critical, and effective manner.

The ideal candidate is intellectually agile, comfortable learning and adapting to new tools, and capable of integrating AI into real-world workflows while maintaining accountability, ethical standards, and quality of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Use AI tools (e.g.Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, etc;) to improve productivity, insight, and solution quality
2. Clearly frame problems and determine when and how AI should be applied
3. Design, test, and refine prompts, workflows, and AI-assisted processes
4. Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, relevance, and risk
5. Integrate AI-generated results with domain expertise and human judgment
6. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain AI-assisted analyses and decisions
7. Stay current with emerging AI tools, risks, limitations, and best practices

Required Qualifications

1. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools deeply and critically, not merely experimentally
2. Strong intellectual fluidity, with the ability to learn new concepts and adapt quickly to change
3. Solid conceptual understanding of how AI systems work, including models, data dependencies, and limitations
4. Strong analytical thinking and problem-framing capabilities
5. Proven ability to validate results, challenge assumptions, and recognize AI limitations
6. Foundational understanding of programming and computational concepts (e.g., logic, APIs, automation, scripting)
7. Experience working with data, digital systems, or software-enabled workflows
8. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and fluency in Chinese to collaborate with our Shanghai-based team
